System of Care

This course will focus on understanding the philosophical concept of Systems of Care, the core values, and principles of how a System of Care should operate, and what that looks like when all child-serving systems collaborate to ensure that all children, youth, and their families have access to the services that they need, when they need them.  The goal is that after attending this course, you will understand and have the knowledge to be an agent of change in your personal practice and the organization in which you work.

Requirements:

• Pre-Test*: This is a private event. A link to the pre-test was emailed to the intended audience for this course. If you believe you are a member of the intended audience but do not have the pre-test link, please contact Beverly Burton at bburton@dcfs.nv.gov

Upon completion, you will be given a passcode needed to complete registration on this page. You will receive a confirmation email when you successfully enroll in the course.

• Attendance: Attendance in the full session is required. Certificates will NOT be issued for partial attendance.
• Post-Test: A post-test link will be distributed following the event. You will need to pass the post-survey with an 80% or higher in order to receive a certificate of completion. The post-test can be taken multiple times.
