Acknowledging Compassion Fatigue and Building Compassion Resilience: LIVE WEBINAR

30 Apr 2025

This workshop will explore compassion fatigue and how working in fields where there is over-exposure to those in emotional pain can cause workers to over-use their compassion, leading to exhaustion and struggle. The first half of the training will focus on helping you gain awareness of the symptoms of compassion fatigue, self-assess to determine if you are at risk or currently symptomatic, and how to notice this in a coworker or supervisee. The second half of the workshop will help you create a plan to address any symptoms you may be experiencing and learn skills to increase your resilience while working with others in emotional pain.

Learning Objectives:

1. Attendees will learn to understand and identify the symptoms of compassion fatigue in themselves and others.

2. Attendees will learn to regularly self-assess their overall functioning personally and professionally.

3. Attendees will learn many ways to increase self-care to improve their functioning.
