In this workshop participants will develop an understanding of the importance of values and value differences in family of origin during late adolescent development. In addition, participants will gain knowledge about the impact of brain development and external events on learning basic life skills. Instructor will include application of concepts to emerging adults and caregivers

By the end of this presentation, participants will:

  • Understand the importance of values and value differences in family of origin in this developmental stage. 

  • Know the impact of internal and external events on learning basic life skills. 

  • Apply concepts to family systems in clinical practice.
