A brief training (in‑person) designed to equip anyone—VA staff, caregivers, community members—with essential skills to support Veterans in crisis or experiencing suicidal thoughts.
By the end of this presentation, participants will:
Have a general understanding of the scope of Veteran suicide within the United States.
Know how to identify a Veteran who may be at risk for suicide.
Know what to do when you identify a Veteran at risk.
Gain a general understanding of resources available for suicide prevention.
