Peers play a crucial role in assisting individuals in their journey of recovery from substance use and mental health challenges. Given the unique dynamics of their role, it's imperative for PRSS to uphold the highest ethical standards to ensure the well-being and trust of those they serve.
Through this training, participants will delve into ethical principles, guidelines, and dilemmas that are inherent to the peer support specialist role. The course will cover a wide range of topics, including confidentiality, boundaries, self-disclosure, dual relationships, and professional conduct.
