American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) 4th Edition, preparing and implementation considerations for New Frontier: IN-PERSON CLASS Registration Closed

The 4th Edition of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) hardcopy is now available for purchase. Treatment providers and program evaluators use patient placement criteria to ensure that clients receive the appropriate level of care based on person-centered needs. This 4-hour in-person training will highlight changes in the 4th Edition. The content will explore the updated ASAM 6-dimensions and the revised and updated Continuum of Care.  Level of care updates will be provided.  Additionally, utilization of how to use the ASAM assessment and admission criteria will be explored. Lastly, there will be discussions related to updated continued service and transfer criteria.  The 4th Edition was developed for adults only.  Adolescent and Criminal Justice version will be available later this year.
